How can I become a precinct official?

If you are interested in becoming a precinct official in Cleveland County, you may contact our Precinct Official Coordintor at (405)366-0210 or print out then mail or bring in an application form.


In order to become a precinct official, you must be a registered voter in Cleveland County. All precinct officials must attend a training session in order to be eligible to be placed as a worker for future elections. Precinct officials work from 6:30 a.m. until the polls have been closed (7:00 p.m.) and all of the closing duties have been performed. The rate of pay, per election, for precinct officials is currently $225 plus mileage for Inspectors and $200 for Clerks and Judges.
